After the formal launch in Pakhuis de Zwijger a few weeks ago, finally found some time to read the publication of the Milano workshop report, made by Carlo Venegoni and Gianpiero Venturini. Pretty solid it is.

Within the double volume, dedicated fully to regeneration of urban spaces, you can find the projects done by the students on the Milano farm houses together with a series of best practices of urban regeneration.

All of the major players in this complicated game of stakes take the floor, showing how ideas can get stakeholders from different angles to come together in a force of energy. This forging of communal interest is hard, but the large amount of successful examples shows the possibilities that city makers, especially architects have to take on this role.
