With the demolition of the old theatre, the first steps towards reconstruction of the Singer Laren Theatre have been taken. During the coming months, the existing theatre will slowly disappear, to be replaced with a brand new theatre in 2016.

The design and construction of the new Singer Laren has been privately funded 100%, in which the community of Laren has played an essential role as main financier.
